Ingredients
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1½ tbsp sugar (or 1 tbsp zero-calorie sweetener)
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (or skim milk)
- 1 tsp vegetable oil (or melted light butter)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: a few mini chocolate chips or a drizzle of sugar-free chocolate syrup
Instructions
- In a small microwave-safe mug, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and no lumps remain.
- Microwave for 60–80 seconds, depending on your microwave power.
- Let it rest for 1 minute before eating (it continues to cook slightly).
- Optional: Top with a dollop of fat-free whipped cream or fresh berries.
