🧾 Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted & cooled
  • 2 cups warm milk
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep oven & pan

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) pan with parchment.

2️⃣ Egg yolk mixture

  • Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale.
  • Add melted butter and water; mix well.
  • Stir in flour until smooth.
  • Slowly whisk in warm milk and vanilla.

3️⃣ Egg whites

  • Beat egg whites with salt until soft peaks form.

4️⃣ Combine
