DETOX KETO SOUTHWEST CHICKEN SOUP
Ingredients (6 servings)
Protein + Veggies:
- 1 lb chicken breast (raw, whole or diced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium zucchini, diced
- 1 cup cauliflower florets (small pieces)
- 1 cup bell pepper, diced (any color)
- 1 jalapeño, seeded & diced (optional)
Broth & Seasonings:
- 6 cups chicken broth (no sugar added)
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles (Rotel-style, optional if strict detox)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp turmeric (detox boost)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Juice of 1 lime
Detox Boosters:
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Sauté the Base
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, zucchini, and jalapeño.
- Sauté 4–5 minutes until softened.
2. Add Chicken & Broth
- Place whole chicken breasts on top of veggies (or add diced chicken).
- Add chicken broth, tomatoes with chiles, and all spices (cumin, chili powder, paprika, oregano, turmeric, salt, pepper).
- Stir gently.
3. Simmer
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 18–20 minutes until chicken is fully cooked.
