🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup spinach (optional)
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic
    • Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
    • Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add broth and chicken
    • Pour in chicken broth and add shredded chicken.
    • Stir in onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Make it creamy
    • Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
    • Pour in heavy cream and mix well.
  4. Add vegetables
    • Stir in spinach and cook 2–3 minutes until wilted.
  5. Finish the soup
    • Sprinkle in parmesan cheese and simmer 5 minutes until slightly thick.
  6. Serve
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan.
