Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt

For the Sauce

  • ½ cup fat-free refried beans
  • 2 tbsp taco sauce or salsa

For the Topping

  • ½ lb (225g) extra-lean ground turkey or beef (99% lean)
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning (low-sodium)
  • ½ cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup diced onions (optional)
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the crust: Mix self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until dough forms. Knead for 2–3 minutes, then roll into a 10–12-inch circle.
  3. Bake crust for 8–10 minutes, until lightly golden.
  4. Cook meat: In a skillet, cook ground turkey/beef until browned. Add taco seasoning and 2 tbsp water; simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Prepare sauce: Mix refried beans and taco sauce. Spread evenly over the baked crust.
  6. Assemble pizza: Add seasoned meat and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake again for 5–8 minutes, until cheese melts.
  8. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and olives before serving.
