Keto Crispy Garlic Mushroom Bites

🍄🧄 Keto Crispy Garlic Mushroom Bites

Ingredients

  • 16 oz (450g) button or cremini mushrooms, whole or halved
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pork rind crumbs (or almond flour for softer texture)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: a squeeze of lemon for brightness

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the Mushrooms

  • Clean mushrooms with a damp towel.
  • Cut large ones in half.
  • Pat them DRY (important for crispiness).

2. Make the Crispy Coating

In a bowl mix:
✔ Parmesan
✔ pork rind crumbs (or almond flour)
✔ Italian seasoning
✔ paprika
✔ salt & pepper


3. Garlic Butter

  • Melt butter in a bowl.
  • Stir in olive oil + minced garlic.

4. Coat the Mushrooms

  • Toss mushrooms in the garlic butter.
  • Then roll them in the Parmesan crumb mix until coated.

(Press coating on with your hands to help it stick.)


5. Cook

Air Fryer Method (best for CRISPY):

  • 400°F (200°C)
  • 10–12 minutes
  • Shake halfway through

Oven Method:

  • Place mushrooms on a baking sheet
  • Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 18–22 minutes
  • Broil last 1–2 minutes for extra crisp

6. Serve

Sprinkle with parsley and a little lemon juice if you like.
Serve with:

  • Garlic aioli
  • Ranch
  • Spicy mayo
  • Sour cream dip
