KETO AIR-FRIED CRISPY CAULIFLOWER
Ingredients (4 servings)
Cauliflower:
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 tbsp olive oil OR 1 tbsp melted butter
Keto “Crispy” Coating:
- ½ cup crushed pork rinds (very fine, like breadcrumbs)
- ¼ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Egg Wash:
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp heavy cream
Optional: sprinkle red pepper flakes or cayenne for heat.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prep Cauliflower
- Cut cauliflower into small florets.
- Pat dry with paper towels (helps them get crisp).
2. Make Egg Wash
Whisk together:
- Eggs
- Heavy cream
3. Make Crispy Keto Coating
In a bowl, mix:
- Crushed pork rinds
- Almond flour
- Parmesan
- Paprika
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Salt & pepper
4. Bread the Cauliflower
- Dip florets into egg wash.
- Toss in the crispy coating mixture.
- Press coating onto each piece so it sticks.
5. Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Spray basket lightly with cooking spray.
- Place coated cauliflower in a single layer.
- Air fry 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Cook until golden, crunchy, and crisp.
