⭐ Ingredients (Makes 4 quesadillas)
Steak Filling
- 1 lb thinly sliced steak
(ribeye is best — or use shaved beef, sirloin, or leftover steak) - 1 tbsp oil or butter
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- Optional: ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- Salt & pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
Quesadillas
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella
(Provolone is classic Philly flavor) - Optional: a little American cheese for extra melt
- Butter or oil for crisping the tortillas
🔥 Instructions
1. Cook the veggies
- Heat a skillet with a little oil.
- Add onions + peppers (and mushrooms if using).
- Cook until soft, caramelized, and lightly browned (about 8–10 minutes).
- Remove from skillet.
2. Cook the steak
- Add a little more oil/butter.
- Add the shaved steak.
